Mohawk is seeking a Vice President to join the College’s executive group, to help lead a dedicated team of faculty and staff and to work collaboratively with students, government officials and college partners to further advance the College’s strategic priorities. 

Passionate about postsecondary education, confident, trusted and collaborative, candidates for this position will be student-centred, able to successfully execute on plans, value the importance of excellence in education program and service delivery, and keen to contribute to the continued growth and success of Mohawk College. 

 

Vice President, Corporate Services 

As Vice President Corporate Services, you will provide leadership to a senior team in finance, information technology, human resources, facilities and planning, ancillary services, internal audit, risk management, business continuity, legal affairs, and other administrative services at Mohawk College. You will enable the College to optimize resources, while ensuring organizational effectiveness and risk management institution-wide to achieve Mohawk’s mission-critical objectives. The Vice President Corporate Services will also provide necessary support to the Treasurer and the Audit, Finance and Infrastructure Committee of the Board of Governors. 

Along with a professional accounting designation, or relevant professional credentials, you possess several years of related and broad senior corporate experience from a complex public sector organization. Expertise in financial reporting and accountability at the Board level is important.
