Senior Advisor, Institutional Space Planning

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring a thoughtful approach to space creation by the University and that assignment, utilization and planning reflects University policies and priorities. You will be responsible for making sure that appropriate facilities are available to support the academic and research enterprises of the University. You will provide leadership and support for major capital construction projects by ensuring that the design and built product best meets the requirements of users and the operating practices and standards of the University.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring the following:

 

A Degree(s) and professional license in Engineering or Architecture is required coupled with a Project Manager or Facility Management accreditation. Graduate degree preferred. Project Management or Facility Management accreditation is an asset. In addition, you will bring a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience and leadership in facility management, construction or planning in large institutional, industrial or commercial enterprises.
