The Lassonde School of Engineering at York University was established in 2011, created to educate Renaissance Engineers – a different kind of engineer and scientist able to grapple with complex global issues. Over the years the School has grown into a nimble, creative, collaborative and close-knit community as we work toward innovation in our teaching and learning, research, partnerships and equity, diversity and inclusion efforts.

Our community of students, staff and faculty are technical experts but also contain a spark of creativity and passion. We are a group of doers, who truly love where we work, learn and grow.

At Lassonde, we strive to create sustained innovation and establish a community of practice around excellence in teaching and learning. We are looking for people who are not afraid to push, bend, twist and break apart the boundaries of engineering and science education. We seek individuals who are passionate about providing learners with a life-time of educational opportunities to support ongoing professional needs of industry, nationally and internationally.

The Lassonde School of Engineering is excited to announce the creation of our new Professional Education program. We are looking for a visionary leader to create the infrastructure and programming to create a new and unique revenue-generating enterprise.

The Professional Education Program will offer an array of professional education opportunities for engineering and other industry professionals in Canada and around the world.
