The Univerity of Regina invites applications for an Associate Vice President of Human Resources (AVP HR) with a reputation for promoting diversity and inclusion as a strategic imperative at all levels of the University. Reporting to the Vice-President (Administration), and a key member of the Executive, the AVP HR leads a team of HR professionals delivering programs, processes and consulting services to ensure the University workforce plan aligns with the teaching and resarch mission. The successful candidate will have an advanced university degree or the equivalent experience and be recognized as a collaborative innovative leader who has provided strong Human Resource leadership to complex unionized organizations.

The University of Regina is situated on Treaty 4 lands with a presence in Treaty 6. These are the territories of the nêhiyawak, Anihšināpēk, Dakota, Lakota, and Nakoda, and the homeland of the Métis/Michif Nation. With more than 2,500 faculty and staff, and close to 16,500 full-time and part-time undergraduate and graduate students, in 10 faculties and 24 academic departments, the University community is devoted to research, scholarship, and social responsibility.
