Vice President, Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer

Reporting to the President, the Vice President Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer (VPCS & CFO) is responsible for implementing the Olds College Strategic Plan in conjunction with the College Leadership Team. As the College’s senior officer responsible for business, financial and operational services and technology, the VPCS & CFO will drive optimal operational performance and support and implement effective planning. The VPCS & CFO will also lead the management, development, and implementation of processes and practices to ensure the integrity of all financial and operational activities of the college. As a key member of the executive, the VPCS & CFO is responsible for business services, including financial planning, reporting, controls, and procurement, campus food services, facility operations and maintenance, capital project construction, and information technology.

The successful candidate will possess a professional accounting designation with several years of relevant financial leadership experience at an executive level, preferably within the post-secondary or public sector. They will have a well-rounded background with strong business skills and a proven track record of integrating and aligning business strategies with organizational resources in a dynamic environment. This individual will champion sustained high-performance teamwork and organization-wide collaboration.
