Brescia University College (www.brescia.uwo.ca), a Catholic University College affiliated with Western University in London Ontario, is Canada’s only women’s University, providing instruction to over 1,600 students. Brescia is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic  professional for the position of:

                                                EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF STRATEGIC INITIATIVES AND GROWTH

                                                                                (Permanent Full-time Role)

Reporting to the President, the Executive Director of Strategic Initiatives and Growth oversees the creation and implementation of Brescia’s growth strategies in support of Brescia’s overall strategic plan.  Working closely with the President, the Senior Leadership Team, managers, employee groups and individual employees, the Executive Director will oversee business development and revenue generating streams.  Experience working with recruitment, domestic and international, is an important strength.  This position will include travel and building partnerships to support Brescia’s ‘Lead with Us’ campaign, and to further meaningful connections for Brescia.

At least five years of experience in post-secondary institutions is required.  A MBA is preferred or a finance university degree with strategic planning experience in a post-secondary environment.  You possess excellent communication skills and knowledge of finance with deep understanding of business development within the context of academic programs and recruitment.  You are a visionary thinker with the ability to make an investment case and develop the support across different employee groups including faculty, staff, as well as the Board. You analyze data and understand trends in enrolment and you are passionate to build the next decade of growth and opportunity for women. 

You are an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, equally comfortable interacting with managers, staff, faculty, and community volunteers. You have the ability to work within a team, to lead a team, and the capacity to work independently, and your strong change management skills are critical for success.
