Academic Resource Management System Manager

The Academic Resource Management System Manager (Manager) is the primary business application owner role for all activities required for maintenance and development of the Academic Resource Management System (ARMS). The Manager provides collaborative leadership and ensures that the system is in alignment with strategic goals and tactical requirements of the Institution related to academic resource planning and management for full-time and contract faculty and teaching assistants. This includes, ensuring that ARMS processes and functionality, and the data residing in ARMS correctly reflects requirements of the relevant Collective Agreements and other relevant University policies, processes, and business rules. The Manager will provide leadership and expertise for all ARMS development work and projects, including business process mapping and analysis, business requirements and functional requirements specification, ensuring alignment of technical requirements with business and functional requirements. Provides project management support to ensure ARMS development projects are delivered on schedule.

 

To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring the following:

University degree in a related discipline (e.g. Information Technology, Technology Management, Operations Research, Systems Design, etc.).

Minimum 5 years of related work experience, preferably in a post-secondary institution.
