Supporting research services and operations managed by the Vice Principal Research portfolio, the day to day activities for the Research Facilitator may be primarily focused on the post-award stages of the research lifecycle, or in the case of large grants driven by institutional research strategy may involve research administrative support required from project inception to completion – all of which requires building effective working relationships with the research community at Queen's. The Research Facilitator will provide prompt, professional service to internal and external stakeholders, working closely and collaboratively with members of the Research Services team and other internal units (e.g., Research Accounting) to support Queen's research mission. In providing excellent customer service and seamless support for research funding management, Research Facilitators are integral members of the Research Services team.
